New Shoes

You'd think that after having Landon and how much he loves shoes that we'd have enough shoes for Sam to wear. We have so many shoes...that don't fit Sam. Sam has moved up to size five shoes, and we've been putting Landon's old, blue shoes "that he just had to have from the DI" on Sam, but they are hard to get on him and when we take them off, Sam's feet look red and squished. So last week we went to the mall to find him some new shoes. So we looked and looked and tried many a pair on his feet but the ones that fit best were extra wide. That's right our Sam fits best in not just wide but EXTRA WIDE. They had only one pair of extra wide in the store...we know because we looked at every pair! I remember my mom complaining that her girls only fit in narrow shoes - so he must get his wide feet from Chris. Chris is yelling at me telling me he's never worn wide shoes "I don't have fat feet!" Or so he claims.......In the end it just means that all my effort in keeping Landon's shoes was wasted effort - at least until we have another boy. (This is not a hint that I'm pregnant...I'm NOT! So don't ask!) Yes I'm in a strange mood today.
