5 Things I was doing 5 years ago.
Let's see...that was November of 2003? Okay here goes.
1-Living in a two bedroom town home in Logan Utah (it only cost us $410 a month. Today we rent a town home that's roughly the same size, but costs us about $1000 more. How ironic.)
2- Chris and I were ward missionaries in the Bridgerland Park 2nd ward, under Bishop Zellar. (He was a great Bishop! We loved his fifth-sunday-of-the-month lessons on marriage relationships)
3- Chris was planning a second honeymoon to Hawaii for us.( We left just after Christmas!)
4- Working at Best Friends. (See further information on that job later)
5- Loving our first year of marriage!
5- 5 things on my to-do list today...
1- Laundry (folding and ironing)
2-Buy some new sewing machine needles (That's not going to happen...maybe tomorrow.)
3-Play with Landon and Sam
4-Call my sister. (she got home from her mission this morning)
5-Clean the kitchen
5 Things I would do if I were a millionaire...
1- Pay off Chris' school loans.
2-Buy/Build a house.
3-Save for my kids future. (College, Missions ect....)
4-Send Landon to a good Preschool.
5-Fly home this week to see my family.
5 Places I have lived...
1-Seattle, Washington
2-Salt Lake City and Logan, Utah
3-Sterling, Virginia
4-Israel/Egypt (it was only two months but I'm counting it.
5-Bologna, Italy
5 Jobs I have had...
1- Preschool Teacher At the Avenues and the East Side Preschools in Salt Lake. (I did this every summer from 1998 to 2002 plus one Fall semester.)
2-Ice Cream scooper at Fendall's (This was my first job....it was not a good experience! The owners sometimes had problems paying me.)
3-Waitress at Frontier Pies (I learned that I am not a good waitress!)
4-Infant/toddler caretaker at Best Friends Day Care in Logan Utah. (This was my favorite outside-of-the-home job!!!! I actually made friends with my co-workers! And we had great insurance)
5-Mother (okay this in not technically a job, but it is work...and I don't have anything else.)
Yes, I know...I'm not very exciting. Most of my life has been spent taking care of children, mine and otherwise. It has been a good five years though.
I'm not going to tag anyone specifically.....if you read this and want to share, please do!
