I'd better clarify WHY we are moving.
Now that we have lived here for a year, we thought our landlord would allow us to go month by month, like we did in Logan. However, he wanted another year contract signed. We don't want to live in this small place for another year. (the six cupboards and two drawers of a kitchen, we are living in, is killing me!!) So we decided to find another, bigger, place to live. If we have to sign another year-long contract it better be in a place where we aren't bursting at the seams. So a couple of weeks ago we found a place we like and signed the lease this last Wednesday. We start moving early tomorrow. It's a three bedroom town home with a two-car garage, AND a hot tub, which Chris is way excited for. We tripled our living space for just a little bit more a month. We figure that if we aren't desperate to get into something bigger, then when we DO start looking into buying a house, we will be happier to wait and find the best place for us, rather than grabbing the first place we see - and possibly regretting it later.
Now if one of Chris' job prospects could come through we'd be REALLY good.......

That's exciting that you'll be getting into a 3 bedroom townhouse. Bet you're excited. I SO hear you when it comes to moving. In fact, we just moved this past weekend. Some of my family came out to help us, and I was sure glad they did. We moved on Saturday.....into a 3 bedroom townhouse with a 2 car garage....what a coincidence. And what a PAIN moving is. I've been unpacking ALL DAY and there's still so much to do. However, I'd much rather UNPACK than PACK. That's for sure. Anyway, good luck with the move. Hope it goes well!
We thought the same thing. If it is going to be a long time while we save money to buy a house, we might as well be comfortable during that waiting period. We also have a 3 bedroom townhouse which we are very comfortable in.

Hurray for more space. I completely understand. You should have seen the first place we lived in Virginia. I think we did the same, tripling the size when we moved, for four months anyway. At least it was perfect timing and I have wonderful memories of those four months.
