Me: Landon the doctor is not going to hurt you.
Landon: I know. (he alway says this)
Sam: Yeah, I will get shots!! (Sam smiles)
Landon: NO!! This is my visit, not yours Sam!!
Me: You get shots on Friday Sam, not today. Landon is not getting shots today. The doctor just wants to talk to Landon.
Landon: The doctor is not going to shot me!
Me: Yep, no shots today!
Landon: Martin Luther King got shots!

That's exactly how my kids are! Kaden hates it, Kaylee is totally fine with it. Kaden always informs the doctor he doesn't want shots. Unfortunately, he has to get ready for kindergarten, so next time, there will be shots :(
