We've been at it again.

Yep Moving is a BIG part of our lives. I've been thinking about all the times we've moved since we've been married and so I thought I would list them all right here.....just to document them and show you all what crazy people we are.

We were married in 2003
#1 In 2004 Chris was activated and sent to Iraq,so we put our stuff in storage and I moved into my parents house.
#2 In 2005 Chris came home and we moved back to Logan to finish his undergrad degree.
#3 April 2007 we moved our stuff back into storage and moved back to my parents house for four months.
#4 August 2007, we packed six suitcases and flew to Bologna Italy to start grad school at SAIS.
#5 June 2008 We flew back to the states. Chris and my dad drove a moving truck with all our stuff to Virginia and we moved into a small two bedroom townhouse (after staying with Chris' brother's family for a few weeks, I'm only counting this as one move, even tho we had to rent a truck twice since Kellie was generous enough to let us use her garage as storage space for two weeks while we waited for the townhouse to become available)
#6 May 2009 thinking we were going to be staying in Virginia with a permanent job, we moved into a larger town house.
#7 April 2010 we packed up a large moving truck and drove back to Utah, put our stuff in storage and lived with my parents(again) for two months, while waiting for law school acceptance letters.
#8 June 2010 we took our stuff out of storage and moved to Moscow, Idaho.
#9 June 2011 we put our stuff in storage, packed our pick-up truck with camping/squatting supplies and moved to Arimo Idaho to stay at Chris' dad's house for a few weeks.
#10 We moved out of the Boyd's home and into a small apartment in Pocatello, so chris wouldn't be so tired from the commute and so he could help me more with the boys.
#11 We left our apartment and moved back to the Boyd's for a week then drove back to Moscow, where we took our stuff out of storage and moved back into a new apartment in the student housing. (this could technically be counted as two moves, but to be fair one week isn't that long so I'll just count it as one)
#12 We applied to get into the subsidized housing to save some money, and over the week of Thanksgiving we took our stuff out of number 6 and once again we moved.

WOW, we've used a lot of storage spaces over the years! Do you now see why I hate moving?!!!!!

I'm tired, my boys have been fighting non-stop, my dryer won't dry my clothes because the fix-it guy can't seem to find where the vent exits the building. I'm having meeting after meeting with Landon's teachers and other school helpers to see how we can help him grow socially, and tomorrow I'm going to call about a local free preschool for Sam. Let's hope they have space for him!!!! I've been taking the boys to swimming lessons twice a week for the last month. They've been loving it, and yesterday Landon jumped into the pool without holding his teacher's hands. That was a first for him. I'm so proud! Sam is also taking violin lessons and he's doing really well. Seth is still not sleeping through the night and the past week's adjustment to the new living arrangements have been hard in that area. Chris starts finals next week, so he's feeling a little stressed. Tomorrow I'm driving down to Lewiston(about an hour away) to pick up Seth's six month pictures that I had taken two weeks ago. I'm kinda excited to see them. But I need some time off. Can we put the children (and Chris) into stasis for a while so I can get some sleep?

In other news: before our most recent move we celebrated Landon's seventh birthday. He wanted carrot cake and among other things a new gun. Since then he's been quoting the commercial. "It's Nerf or Nuthin" So I guess he had a good day.

We also celebrated Chris' 31st birthday. I'd say he's old but he would just throw it in my face.
