Seth has learned the joy of rolling to get him to the places he wants to be. He will be crawling soon, but what I really want him to learn is to sit. Apparently sitting doesn't get him anywhere so he refuses to practice with me.
Sam has had so much energy lately that he decided to have a fight with the wooden headboard on his bed.
I think the bed won!
On Saturday we made gingerbread cookies. Landon wanted to watch me put the cookies on the hot cookie sheet, so he jumped up and knocked his chin on the edge of the pan, giving his chin a 2nd degree burn, and me more guilty parent feelings.
Also - to add to my lack of sleep issues, our upstairs neighbors decided to have an end of semester party last Friday. It started around 10:00 PM, and by 1:00 they were drunk and very loud. It seems they like to move furniture and play loud guitar music at these parties as well as arguing about Microsoft options. The party finally calmed down around 5:30 and the couple retired to their very squeaky bed for some added fun. Chris and I retaliated Saturday morning by doing the mature thing......we shouted all our words, turned on all our loud appliances, vacuumed all the floors and played loud Christmas music.
Yes, life around here is very exciting. I will leave you with some pictures of what we've been doing lately.
