So....it's  been a while.  I've been too busy to post.......sort of.  Mostly it's just because  nothing REALLY exciting has happened.

Chris and I celebrated our Ninth anniversary.  WOW  he's actually stuck with me for nine whole years!  Chris surprised me the saturday before our actual anniversary with waffles, dress shopping and dinner with out the kids.  He even got the babysitters, so I didn't have to do anything.  And a big thanks goes out to Wes and Rebecca, who gave us a gift card to a local steak house so the dinner was free, and very tasty.

I've had a couple more meetings with Landon's teacher and other school workers and I spent an hour in Landon's class explaining about why Landon is the way he is, and what he has in common with the other kids in his class.  The children were very enthusiastic about helping Landon, and I'm hoping that my explanations will help them understand him when he has his outbursts.

I've been taking Sam to preschool for a couple of hours on Tuesday mornings.  He loves playing with the other kids and he's getting better at writing his name.   The program is called Success By Six and is run completely by volunteers.  Today they asked me to be on the parent board, but I really don't feel like I have the time, though it would be fun.  With Landon hopefully starting therapy next month and Seth needing his schedule and Sam needing to work more on getting ready for kindergarten......I feel like the "extra" time I have is time I need for myself.

Seth has started dragging himself around the house.  Last night he traveled down the hall and into his brother's room.  His pants came off in the process, but he was so happy to finally get to where he wanted to go.  He's also started answering to his name, and he eats almost constantly.  He's still not sleeping through the night, but hopefully I will figure that out soon.

Chris has been working hard in school.  This past weekend he started preparing for his Moot Court trial that is coming up after spring break next month.  It's in New Jersey so he won't be home for several days at the end of March.  The boys and I will miss him, but since we aren't paying for the trip I'm also excited for him to go and we are all hoping he does well with his arguments.

These next few weeks are going to be just as busy.  Sundays I teach primary.  Mondays I do Laundry and clean the house.  Tuesdays is preschool in the morning and Swim lessons in the evening.  Wednesdays I watch a two-year old for a couple hours in the morning so my friend can help in her daughter's 1st grade class, and in the evenings Sam has violin lessons.  Thursdays is laundry and swim lessons.  Friday is more cleaning and Saturday is my sanity day, which usually means preparing my primary lesson. And hopefully I can spend some time in those days grocery shopping, visiting the doctor, working in Sam's preschool workbook,  naps for Seth, homework and reading with Landon and also a little cooking.  Sigh!!!  Life is good when we're busy.

And As a side note, in case you were wondering, we don't celebrate V-day very well around here.  I think we get all our romantic lovey-dovey stuff over with on our anniversary but we would like to wish all our friends and family a

   Happy Valentines Day

                      we love you all!!!

I'm glad you guys were able to go out and have some kid free time.

You made me tired just reading your weekly schedule.
