Last Monday I stepped out onto our balcony to find we had a visitor. He was a fully grown, black bear. It my first time seeing a bear that was not in a zoo, so I watched as he climbed up the hill to the base of our building, but I was glad I was far enough away from him that I had to use my zoom lens.
and YES that is snow in our yard. It's like we're back in March weather.
