Perceptive

Landon gave this to me as we got in the car to go home from church today.

I'm not sure if you can read this so I will translate.

I love my family because: dad keeps teasing me.

The most fun thing our family does is: I don't know.

I will help my family become an eternal Family by:  Helping mom with the clothes, I think.

I loved the "I think" part so much I had to laugh out loud .  Which made Landon get a little upset because he thought I was making fun of him.  The fact that he noticed my reaction was the best part of the whole day today.  Landon doesn't usually notice or understand people's reactions, it's all apart of his Aspergers.  So although he was upset (until we explained that I wasn't making fun, but just feeling happy about his answers) at that moment I was so happy that he noticed me laughing.

It's hard for me to see how much he has changed, because I'm with him all the time and I still see his angry melt downs on almost a daily basis.  I sometimes wonder if taking him to his therapy sessions is really helping him.  However, his therapist told me this week that he's been doing so well with his goals that we'll be filling out "termination" paperwork soon.   I'm so proud of my little boy!
