Scouts

Samuel is now eight years old and has been looking forward to joining scouts since Landon started two years ago.  In May he received his Bobcat award.

He had his face painted and felt very embarrassed by the whole ceremony, but he was also enjoying every minute of it.

Landon also received some big cub scout awards.  With the scouting program changing we decided to rush Landon through Weblows and get it all done before the changes complicate things.  So Landon and two other boys received their Weblow award during June's pack meeting.

I painted his face and he gave me a cool pin.

Then we moved on to the bigger award.  His Arrow of Light. It was quite the ceremony, with a story and costumes and everything!  I got a cool pin for that one too!
