Samuel and Soccer

Sam liked being on a team this spring.  I don't think he liked playing the actual game of soccer though.  He tried his best to kick the ball and score, but he doesn't like to compete with anyone other than his brothers. 

If Sam saw someone headed for the ball he would hang back and let them have it.  He's just not an aggressive boy

 Sam was the only member of the team who didn't want to play goalie.  They forced him to play the position for their final game.  He wasn't happy about it.

I think Sam liked being on the sidelines best because he could sit and talk to the other kids instead of having to run around the field.
