Samuel

Here are some facts about Samuel Kraig Boyd.

1. Sam gives the best hugs.
He's so squishy and he loves to cuddle. Plus he's always giving hugs. We put him in a grocery cart and he will lean forward and try to give a hug. He hugs arms and legs....whatever is in reach. His hugs just feel good. They always make me feel loved.

2. Loves to read with mom and dad.
He brings books to mom and dad all the time for us to read. He will usually get through a book once, then he begs us to read it again, but by the middle he throws a fit and closes the book. I have no idea what it's all about but that's my Sam.

3. Sam loves to eat.
We like to call it the "Sam Tax," It means that if someone is eating Sam must have a taste. He eats everything we eat. His favorite foods are chicken nuggets, fries and he prefers vegetables over ice cream any day.

4. Bottles of milk.
A bottle of milk can calm Sam anytime. If he's hurt he gets his milk, if he's cranky he gets his milk, if he's tired he gets his milk. I'm sure you get the gist.

5. Sam loves Landon.
When we put them in the grocery carts together, Landon usually gives me a disparaging look, while Sam grins at Landon. Sam loves to play with Landon and he gives the most hugs to his big brother.

6. Sam is finally learning to pull himself up onto his feet.
He screamed and cried when mom tried to practice walking with him, but when Aunt Kellie started working with him, he took to it like fish to water. He now walks around the furniture and tries to go up the stairs by himself all the time.

7. Sam doesn't crawl, he gallops.
See Video. Hopefully that's enough explanation for this one.

8. If Landon has it, Sam wants it.
Typical sibling behavior right?!!!

9. Sam is very confidant.
He knows everyone loves him. Even when I yell at him to not play with the DVD's he will turn and smile at me. He just knows that even if he's doing something wrong, he's still loved.

10. Sam is almost the complete opposite from Landon.
Where Landon is skinny, Sam is fat. Where Landon must be forced to eat, Sam eats everything. Where Landon is timid, Sam is confidant.

Our two boys are just so different, and yet those differences compliment each other and produces a good friendship. We hope they stay good friends for a long time.

I'm so glad you posted stuff about Sam too. It was fun to read stuff about him since I haven't seen him since he was 1 month old! His crawl/gallop is so cute!
