Across the parking lot there was a great grassy place for us to play and run.
We ate our KFC, ran around in the heat and drank a lot of liquids.
The boys were hot and red, but happily they didn't get sunburned. It was a great day at the park.

Labor Day 2008
We had a lot of ideas for what to do on Labor day. At first Chris wanted to go to Gettysburg or New York and see all the tourist stuff....but he was soon convinced that Labor day is not the day to go be a tourist. So instead we decided to go have a picnic at a nearby park, feed the ducks, play in a playground...that kind of thing. Kellie called in the morning and they had the same idea, so we made it a big family day. Shawn and Kellie took us to this great park, full of things to climb, swing and slide on.
