Music
I feel the need to explain my choices of music that you may or may not listen to, here on my blog. These are the songs that I fell in love with while we were in Italy. Several of them have memories that go with them. For instance...the Artist MIKA is an Italian artist that we thought was really annoying, and we couldn't stand his music, at first. As the months passes and we heard his songs everywhere, he grew on us and he's now one of our very favorites. "Bleeding Love" by Leona Lewis was used as background music for a slide show that our Elder's Quorum President made for us. I feel the need to cry whenever I hear it. Not a bad cry, a good nostalgic cry. We are really missing the friends we made in Bologna. "Non Estamos Solos" is supposed to be "Non Siamo Soli" The Italian version of the song, but they didn't have it so I had to settle for the Spanish version. It's not as good. Anyway, the list goes on. Someone told me my songs were all depressing so I thought I would explain why I chose these particular songs. They are not depressing to me, and I think it's funny that these songs have been out for over a year in Europe and many of them are just barely being released here. Chris heard "Pumpkin Soup" on the radio the other day, and the DJ announced it as a "new song".....actually it came out just in time for Valentines Day 2008. Anyways.......Have a Nice Day!
