-Chris made me a fantastic breakfast in bed after letting me sleep in until 8:30. It was heavenly!
-My Visiting Teachers came by with cookies and candies...they are so great!
-The boys took a good nap.
-We had smoothies for Lunch.
-I worked on my Christmas stockings while the boys slept. (I'm way excited about them right now!)
-Chris made German Chocolate cake for me and surprised me with some great presents!
-We spent the evening together walking the mall (because it's now too cold to walk the neighborhood for two hours)
-We ate (yes laugh all you want) Hot Dogs for Dinner.
This year definitely tops my last six birthdays by a long shot! Ever since we met, Chris has never been able to take the day for me. He's had work and school. He was far away doing ARMY stuff for two of them. Last year, in Italy, was fun, but Chris had to sit and answer questions for the school's Iraq Panel. I sat in the audience ALONE (He did a great job, by the way) but it wasn't exactly the perfect activity for my birthday. We did share cake with our "Best Friends By Default" which was the best part of that birthday. So YES my 29th birthday topped them all because I had my husband home all day! That was definitely the best part.
Thanks to EVERYONE for the birthday wishes and phone calls. I feel very loved!!

I'm so happy that you had a wonderful birthday finally. We were very sad to miss being with you. Andie is blessing your whole family in every prayer she says so I think she is missing you all very much. She keeps telling me with the biggest round eyes, "Chris is my uncle". We miss you guys. We're trying to get in touch over skype but need your log in name or something. We'd like to chat when you have time.
