A Weekend with the Boyds

Friday morning, we woke up at 6:00 AM Utah time. All four of us were wide awake, but then for us it felt like 8:00. So we got up, ate breakfast and drove to Idaho. Wes and Rebeca made the long drive from their home to come see us. We were so excited to see them. We spend the day in Pocatello eating ice cream, playing arcade games and bowling. I wasn't able to take pictures because I forgot to charge my battery. Stupid! Just trust me when I say - we had loads of fun, then we picked up some Papa Murphy's Pizza and headed back to the house. Angela and Chad had shown up while we were gone and Jonathan came soon after. It was so nice to be together. We haven't seen Jonathan since he left for his mission in April of 2006.   Kraig finnally got off work and came home around 11:00 PM and many of us stayed up way too late, talking.
No one slept well that night, and Landon spent most of Saturday lying on an air mattress, feeling sick. We tried to get him to eat, but he nothing stayed in his stomach for very long, but he was so good and never threw up on himself. He made it into the bowl every time. I wasn't feeling very well myself, and Sam emptied his stomach all over the dinner table. It was very appetising for everyone!:) Sam spent the rest of the night acting as if nothing had happened until around 11:00 when he threw up again, triggering Landon to do the same. I was really worried we wouldn't get any sleep, but the boys crashed after that and didn't wake up until morning.
Chris and I decided to not go to church for obvious reasons.  It was nice to sit around, and rest.  We spent the day playing computer games, building with Legos, and throwing balls around the house.  Andrew entertained us by climbing the walls, and by the evening we were all feeling mostly better.
Monday morning we spent talking to Kraig.  Everyone had to go back to their lives that day, so we were pleasantly surprised when Kraig decided to take the day off to spend with us.

Though we missed the family members who weren't there, we had a lot of fun, and it was great to catch up with everyone.  I just hope we didn't pass on any yucky germs to anyone.
