According to Sam

THIS is Grandpa Pace.

The past month Sam has been obsessed with my dad. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is "Bapa Pace". A picture on a book, a kid running down the hall, a man in the car next to us. Most of them look nothing like my father, but he insists that grandpa Pace is everywhere. Two days ago Sam started talking to this little farmer and referring to him as "Bapa Pace". "Sorry Bapa Pace, thank you Bapa Pace, welcome Bapa Pace, Bapa Pace is falling!" and then he drops the farmer off the couch. My dad grew up on a dairy farm, so in many ways my dad IS a farmer, and he wears baseball caps to keep the sun off his head when he works, but that's really where the resemblance ends. I guess pulling my boys in the wagon and playing ball with Sam DID make an impression on my little boy. So here's to you Dad! Your efforts to win over my children worked. You ARE loved!
