I got a little bored this morning and was looking for something to do. (I have lots of housework I COULD do....but that really didn't sound fun to me) I looked over at Sam and realized how much his hair was bothering me. It was sticking out everywhere ( he had a bath last night and I didn't comb it before bed) and I decided that it just had to go. I was just going to cut a little off, just enough to stop the craziness, but once I got started I couldn't stop, and ended up with a few holes that made his hair look worse than when I started so.......
TaaaDaaa!

I ended up with a 2 year-old who now looks bald. As a reference THIS is what he looked like a few days ago.

Chris was in bed (trying sleep off the flu) and didn't see it until he came down for lunch.....needless to say I got some teasing for my catastrophe. Usually people buzz their little boys heads before the Summer months, not the Winter ones. My consolation is that Sam doesn't have the terrible widow's peak that Landon has, so he's doesn't look too awful with very little hair.
Landon does need a haircut...but maybe I'll try that on another day. A day when I'm not feeling so impatient to do something "interesting".
Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

I think Sam looks just as cute with buzzed hair as he did before. He's just a cute kid! I think every mom that cuts their kids hair has buzzed it for that same reason before. In fact, one time Wes ended up with REALLY short buzzed hair because I put the attachment on the clippers that I used on the sides and then accidently went across the top. He was pretty much bald after that one. Good luck with Landon's!
Sam looks great with the short haircut. I really noticed his large blue eyes in that picture.
I hope you are feeling better at your house. Did the boys get it too? We hope you all have a quick recovery.
Great job on the haircut. And it grows back so fast that he'll need it again soon enough.
He looks cute! That reminds me, I need to cut Kaden's!
