Exhausted

That's just how I'm feeling today. It's been a good month, but we haven't really stopped to rest at all. After our FOUR DAY DRIVE across the country Chris unloaded our moving truck into a storage unit, and then had his interview with the Dean of Admissions at the University of Utah. (it went well and he seemed genuinely impressed with Chris' resume but the REAL decisions are not made by him but by the whole committee) To keep our minds off the stress of the unkown we decided to travel.
We first went north to Idaho where we spent a weekend with the Boyds. It was fun to play with Kellie and the kids.

It was so nice to hold a new baby. Hailey is so darn cute!!

This last week we spent in California. It's always nice to visit Chris' mom and sister, and my sister and her family as well. The drive was a little crazy. It was raining as we headed into Donner Pass in the Seirra Nevada Mountains and before we knew it we were being told to get out the tire chains. Good thing we had our own and didn't have to pay the $40 they were charging.

The weather cleared, and we were able to spend some time at the Zoo with Michele, Jarom and the kids.

and Terri and Tasha spoiled us with attention and food, as usual. It was a good trip and definitely worth the long driving days.

I didn't add all the photos I wanted to because I don't have my photoshop program on this computer....and there are a few I would like to crop. So look for them sometime in the future on my photography blog.

What a fun way to occupy your mind while waiting. Thanks for the visit-it was great to play even if it was too short. Next time we get a whole week. Yeah!

And I'm proud of you for blogging at all when not on your regular computer.
