Still Here

I'm still having minor issues. It's been a whole week, people!!!

However, I finally got certain people to call me back and they informed me that my HCG hormone is still rising. (It was funny 'cause when they first gave me my actual numbers from the two tests, and I couldn't keep them straight in my brain so I didn't know if the second number was higher than the first. I was relieved that they finished by telling me they are rising, and I didn't have to ask what the difference was.) Which is good news, though admittedly I'm not surprised. I think that if I really had miscarried the baby I would at least be starting to feel somewhat better. In the last week my heartburn has gotten decidedly worse and yesterday I almost threw up while brushing my teeth...so NO I'm not feeling better. I am wondering why I'm still having my small problem, though. Hopefully my ultrasound today will clear up some of my confusion.

I know I told some of you that my ultrasound wasn't until tomorrow, but that was just a brain fart. My brain was thinking Wednesday but I wrote down Tuesday and then the radiology department called yesterday and cleared it all up. It has been pushed back a little, though. It seems one of the techs is sick today so they are double booked and needed me to come in an hour later than scheduled. I was supposed to be the last appointment of the day. I kinda feel bad the remaining tech. Must be a bad day for radiology!
