Chris and I really thought I was going to be in the Hospital last Tuesday, having a baby. I had contractions all day. By evening I was having 3 or 4 an hour and they were becoming more painful. At 9:30 I decided to go to bed in hopes of getting a little sleep, and Chris called our stand-by babysitter to give her the heads-up on my situation. So you can imagine my disappointment when I woke up to my alarm Wednesday morning. I've only had a few contractions since then, and I'm getting anxious to get this whole thing over with. I hate waiting!!!
Chris got some good news yesterday, and it looks like we'll be moving to Pocatello ID, to work for the U.S. Attorney's office, for the summer. They want us to be there on the 31st, but unless this baby comes in the next couple of days, I don't think it's going to happen. Monday is my next doctor appointment and I keep having dreams that the doctor tells me to walk across the street to the hospital to have the baby but I never seem to make it there. Last night I ended up at our friend's house, helping them pack to move to Colorado. (I guess I really miss our Virginia friends!)
In other news: Landon announced to his whole class, last Monday, that he was in love and going to marry his girlfriend, Lauren. When they wrote in their journals that day, he wrote that he would only marry her if she followed his rule #8. His teacher tried to find out what that rule is, but was unsuccessful. So I asked him. He told me that rule #8 is "I will not hold large trophies!" I'm not sure what that has to do with Lauren and getting married, but Landon often has ideas that I don't understand.

So happy that you are staying in ID!!! Happy news! Tell Chris congrats on the internship!
It's simple... Landon doesn't want a trophy wife! :)
