We were out running errands yesterday and Sam needed to use the bathroom so Chris took him. When he was done Chris told him to wash his hands, but to be funny he spoke in Spanish. Sam looked up at Chris and said "Dad! You're not Black and you don't speak Spanish!"

I'm not sure what being Black has to do with speaking Spanish, but I got a good laugh off it.

Then again - our next door neighbors are Black and and Latino. Maybe that's why he thinks you have to be Black to speak Spanish....hmmmmm.



In other news: Chris was playing with Seth last night and decided to work on rolling skills. So Chris pulled Seth's arm out of the way and Seth immediately rolled onto his back. It was so surprising that Chris rolled Seth back onto his stomach to see if he'd do it again. Seth moved his arm out of the way himself and rolled over. Chris was so excited! I think it was the first time that any of our boys did something for the first time for Chris. Now if Seth is anything like his brothers he won't ever roll again. So I'm happy Chris was here for this developmental milestone.
