This past month has been a crazy one. Pink eye, the pukes, ear infections, sore throat, 101 fevers, and a lot of coughing. I think we visited the doctors office at least six times in the last three weeks. One of those appointments was to a dentist. I took Landon in to get his tooth pulled and he said it didn't hurt at all. With Sam and Seth in tow I wasn't able to go into the back room with him, but from what he said they gave him some gas that made him feel good, then put some pink gel on his tooth I'm assuming to numb it up. The dental assistant said they took the tooth out with a thread and she also tried to assure me that the adult tooth that is half way grown in and very crooked should slide into the correct position now that the baby tooth has been removed. I guess I'll believe that when I see it.
We have had some good time this month. I think swimming lessons were the highlight of my boys weeks. Chris was home this last Thursday so I was able to leave Seth at home and take my camera to the pool. It was the last day of the session so they did a lot of playing in life jackets and jumping off the side.
They were also given the chance to jump off the small diving board. Sam was very brave and leaped into the water,
while Landon was a little nervous and so he was dropped in by the helpful swim coordinator.
They are both a little sad to be taking a hiatus from swimming lessons, but next month we start soccer with Landon (Sam opted out of it) and swimming just doesn't fit.
In other news: Seth is learning how to pull himself to his feet. This was taken just before I lowered his crib mattress. He's so proud of himself!
