Sam: MOM!!! When you get stabbed and stabbed and you bleed into the pool then the water turns to blood!
(apparently he told this to his swim teachers too. Why does my little boy fixate on blood and death?)
Sam during conference on Saturday: Mom, what is a Pure heart?
Me: someone who has a pure heart is someone who is innocent and kind and loving. You have a pure heart, Sam.
Sam: You don't have a pure heart, mom. You are mean!
We drove by some girls selling cookies last night and I almost turned around to buy some. Almost. I did, however, yell out "hey boys, look! Girls Scout cookies!!!"
Sam then said "We eat girl scouts? Are they good?"
But my favorite conversation happened this last Tuesday morning while driving to the store. Lately he's been asking me who created the earth and I tell him that Jesus created the Earth when Heavenly Father told him to.
Sam: Mom, did Jesus create cars too?
Me: Well....sort of. Heavenly Father and and Jesus have given us talents and with these talents we can create things like cars and bicycles.
Sam: So Jesus DID create cars.
gotta love my boy!
