First School Diorama

Last month Landon's teacher sent home a letter telling me that the class was writing reports in school and Landon would be required to do a special project at home to add to the presentation of his report. I immediately thought we could make food, but then Landon told me he chose Panda Bears.  I couldn't send bamboo to school for the kids to eat.  So instead, today, we spent two hours making this diorama.  I'm just hoping the bamboo stays upright until after his presentation.

 

I thought of my mom the whole time we were working on it.  I remember the hours and hours my mom spent with me reading and preparing and then writing reports for with me.  She made dioramas and helped me sculpt clay.  She did so much! I'm so grateful I had a mom who cared enough to do most of my projects for me.  Love you mom!!!
