Pictures

As seen in previous posts, Sam loves to color. This past summer Landon has finally caught the same "bug" and wants to color all the time. He started out just writing numbers on the sidewalk (addition and subtraction). I was pretty impressed that he knew the right answers since I haven't really worked on any "math" with him. I attribute his ability to his love of watching Leap Frog's Math Circus movie.







Then he moved onto drawing pictures of the people around him, and people he makes up in his head. Apparently he has several sisters and a mom that at some point in the future will come and get him.


The blue blob is Sam's contribution to the drawing.

The point is: A couple of weeks ago Landon drew something in church. When he showed it to me he told me that the person was me. I told him it was beautiful and that I loved it. Then he said "See mom, it's your fat head." I know I have a fairly square face but I've never really thought about it as "fat" I had a good laugh, though.



I think his skill is improving.
