Number Two

We celebrated Seth's second birthday this last week.  He helped pick out the frosting for his cake and begged me every day to open the canister so he could taste it.  I made his cake in the morning and since he's really been into Dinosaurs lately we found a few to use as cake toppers.  After bringing Landon home from school I went to my room to put my feet up for just a second.  I heard our little stool being pushed around the kitchen floor and a thought popped in my head. Seth was going for the cake!  But I reassured myself that he couldn't reach the dinosaurs so it would be okay.  I got up to check anyway and by the time I reached the kitchen he had already helped himself to a corner of the cake.  I moaned in frustration (mostly at myself for not being faster to listen to that little voice) and so we started the "party".

He tried to smell the candles instead of blowing them out and so his nose got a little singed before I quickly blew them out for him.

He received cards and a riding horse from his grandparents and we gave him more dinosaurs.  (He won't go anywhere without a dinosaur in each hand)

Uncle Jonathan was here to take a a very important test and so was able to celebrate with us.

I think Seth had a good birthday, but we just really hope he soon learns to share his toys instead of screaming every time one of his brothers touches anything he considers his.
