Halloween 2013

Chris spent last weekend hunting with his brother, Shawn and Shawn's two boys.  They walked around a lot, and saw a lot of signs of animals, but didn't get a shot off.  So it was a little sad(for them)  that they didn't bring home an animal.  They got home very early Monday morning and Chris spent most of Monday resting and recovering. So Tuesday became our 'prepare for Halloween' night.  Chris made the older boys costumes. 

 He made them into killer robots.  They LOVE their costumes.  

 While Chris cut and taped and painted, I carved pumpkins.  The boys drew up what they wanted the faces to look like - though I help Seth a little.  

By the end Violet was tired.  She's been falling asleep like this a lot lately. Okay, this picture was taken before the festivities, but I didn't take a picture of her crying at the end.

Wednesday night was spent at the church trunk-or-treat.  The soup was good and the kids really liked the candy.

Seth didn't want to wear a costume, but I got him to wear "scarey" zombie make-up.  He likes to tell Chris that he's a Zombie and the proceed to "eat" him.  "I a Zombie dady.  yum, yum yummmmm!"

Violet was the usual baby bat.  She actually was okay wearing it, I was amazed.
