2015

It's been a rough month for us.  We haven't had one day of good health yet.  Two rounds of stomach flu, neck issues, everyone is coughing and Seth and Violet have both been to the ER.  I'm hoping this is not a sign that 2015 is going to be a bad one for us.

In Other News:

Callie is sleeping better.  She only wakes about twice to eat at night, which is so much better for me. She has started laughing for Chris but mostly she likes to growl at me.

Violet is learning new words every day.  Her favorite is still "shoe".  She is defiantly a girly girl.  She loves jewelry, and brushing the peach fuzz that she likes to think of as hair.  She started going to nursery at church and her teachers say she is very happy and pleasant to be around, and she LOVES to wear her pretty dresses.

Seth still fights me for his ability to choose everyday, but likes to be my big helper and talk to me all day long.  He likes to pick up sticks and rocks and bring them home, and he has a huge "collection" pile sitting outside our front door.

Samuel is dong well in school, and I think we've cleared up some of the bullying on the bus, so he's happier when he comes home in the afternoon. We are preparing for Sam's baptism this coming April and he's excited to join cub scouts.

Landon  is also doing well in school and I LOVE that he has good friends to play with. He is working towards getting his Weblo stuff done, but his favorite thing to do and talk about is still his video games.

We had a funny incident with Samuel the other night.

Landon came to our room around 9:30 at night to tell us that he was worried about Sam, who was crying.  So we went to investigate.  Sam was sitting up in bed with his eyes open and seemed a little distressed so I asked him what was wrong.  "I just can't...."  then he made this thrusting stabbing motion with his hand as if he was holding a knife.  At this point I knew he was still asleep, but I just had to pursue the issue.  Chris pulled him out of bed and hugged him and tried to get him to talk but the most we got out of him was "I....ummmm.. mumble, mumble, mumble...."  so Chris took him in the bathroom and gently washed Sam's face with cold water.  "Okay, Sam.  Now, why were you crying?"  "I wasn't crying!?"     So we put him back to bed.
I wouldn't be surprised if someday Sam sleep walks out of the house.  Chris blames me for Sam's funny behavior, since, on occasion, he can get me to talk in my sleep.

Up Next:

With the weather being so warm lately we've decided to get going on our next house project.  The Back Yard!

Tree removal and raised garden beds, here we come!
